Hello! My name is Johnson Amodu. I am a Microsoft Certified Data Scientist. I have 4+ years experience as a Data Analyst and 2+ experience as a Full Stack Data Scientist with specialization in Business Intelligence Analytics and Machine Learning.

I am passionate about helping businesses unlock the full potentials in their large datasets. I also help other professionals, particularly those with non-technical backgrounds, explore the possibilities of switching to data science or other data analytics fields. Through my experiences, I hope to provide valuable insights and guidance for those considering a similar career transition.

I work with data and other technical professionals to make data driven decisions and to build applications using Python, SQL(T-SQL, PL-SQL), PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, Machine Learning frameworks(Numpy, Pandas, MatPlotLib, Seaborn, NLTK, Scipy, Scikit-Learn, OpenCV, ...), Cloud tools(AWS, Azure and Heroku), SPSS, SASS and basically any tool suitable for the task at hand.

I am a graduate of Petroleum Engineering(M.Sc & B.Sc) from the University of Ibadan. At my final year, I was privileged to serve as the Chapter President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, University of Ibadan, Ibadan.

I have a background in teaching high school Mathematics and Physics, but made a career switch to become a data scientist specializing in business intelligence analytics and model deployment.

I love music and I attend musical concerts at my leisure time. I play the bass guitar and the piano as well. Don't get it twisted when you see me perform in live band.

I left a 10-year teaching career to become a data scientist. Now, I help others learn and grow in this field.
